After the first two planets the freedom of choice is much more expanded and the game world, the galaxy, gets more accessible.
The character evolves with time and gets better and ready to meet harder enemies, even on one planet the content becomes incrementally harder, but is kept on the level that it is matched against the character’s supposed evolution. Each scene is called a planet and consist of a series of locations closely linked and gives some hours or days of gameplay. During the game the player is led from one scene to another. Gameplay consists of open environments with enemies that need to be fought, special instances for groups of characters called flash points, and arenas for fighting the other faction of the game, called war zones. The player character is one of several classes and will follow a specific storyline for that class. "To make these classes feel less encumbered and customization more concise," says the blog post, "we are working to reduce the quantity of abilities but ensuring that these classes remain distinct and unique.Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG set in the Star Wars universe, in a time called the Old Republic when a cold war has split the galaxy between the Republic and the Sith Empire.
The Old Republic's public test server is currently trialing the powertech, mercenary, juggernaut, and marauder combat styles. Force wielders' choices will be limited by their faction, but they can eventually unlock the opposing variety of powers with enough Light or Dark Side points. That Imperial agent wouldn't be able to choose a Force-based combat style, but would be able to choose any of the tech-based blaster styles: vanguard, commando, powertech, mercenary, scoundrel, or gunslinger, as well as sniper and operative. In the new system, characters will have a combat style from level one, chosen from a much wider variety. Previously, you could choose from one of two advanced classes at level 10-an Imperial agent could pick from sniper or operative, for instance.
